„Fit für Frankreich“

Um uns auf die diesjährige internationale Comenius-Projektwoche in Colmar vorzubereiten, testeten wir kürzlich unsere sportlichen Fähigkeiten, im Rahmen des diesjährigen Mottos „Sport und Fitness“, aus. Dazu besuchten wir das Physiotherapiezentrum  „Medi-Dos 1“ in Cottbus.

Zu Beginn wärmten wir uns mit etwas Rückentraining auf. Schon da stießen einige Mitglieder der Gruppe an ihre Grenzen. Im Anschluss kamen wir  beim vierzig-minütigen „Indoor-Cycling“ bzw. „Kranking“ ziemlich ins Schwitzen. Nach einer kurzen Pause und gesunder Verpflegung, die uns von Medi-Dos bereitgestellt wurde, trainierten wir an verschiedenen Kraftgeräten gezielt unterschiedliche Muskelgruppen. Unterstützend stand uns Sport- und Fitnesskauffrau Eileen zur Seite. Sie motivierte uns zu Höchstleistungen! Um dem gefürchteten Muskelkater vorzubeugen, schloss sich an das Training noch eine 10-minütige Cool-Down Phase an. 

Rückblickend war es eine  spannende, schweißtreibende Erfahrung für uns, an unsere körperlichen Grenzen zu stoßen…

 

“Fit for France”

Preparing the international Comenius-Congress 2011 in Colmar, we recently tested our abilities in different physical exercises within our this year’s motto „Sport and Fitness”.

For that we visited the physiotherapy centre “Medi-Dos 1” in Cottbus. Starting with some warm-up activities, we especially strengthened our back- musculature. At this stage some of us already got to know their limitations! After that we did “Indoor Cycling” where we got quite an intense cardio-workout of about forty minutes. On modern Spinning- and Kranking- machines we broke out in a sweat. Then, taking a break, we all recovered with some healthy snacks provided by “Medi-Dos 1”. Afterwards we tried to give our best in practicing certain weightlifting-exercises. Coach Eileen tried to motivate us over the time. To prevent muscle ache we finished the work out with a quick cool-down. Looking back at the day we can say that it definitely was an exciting experience where we literally crossed our physical borders...
